رحلة الكتابة - Journey of Writing

نشرت أمل إسماعيل أولى أعمالها الأدبية في السادسة من عمرها، قصّة قصيرة بعنوان "الأديبة الصغيرة"، إذ قرّرت منذ نعومة أظفارها أن تصبح كاتبةً، وسَعَت لتحقيق حلمها بدعمٍ وتشجيعٍ من عائلتها. شاركت في معظم الفعاليات الأدبية على مستوى المدارس، وفازت بالمركز الأول في فئة الشعر على مستوى مدارس دولة الإمارات عام 2000م. أما في الجامعة فقد كان مدير تحرير مجلة "منتدى الجامعة"، ونائب رئيس جمعية طلاب كلّيتَي الآداب والتربية. 

قبل أن تبلغ عشرين عامًا، أصدرت أمل إسماعيل مجموعتها القصصية الأولى بعنوان "لأنّها لا تموت" عن نادي جازان الأدبي في السعودية، ثم توالت إصداراتها الأدبية، وقدّمت أولى أمسياتها الأدبية الرسمية في اتحاد كتّاب وأدباء الإمارات عام 2005م، وسجّلت عضويتها فيه. كما نشطت في الترجمة وكانت عضوًا في جمعية المترجمين واللغويين العرب، والاتحاد الدولي للغة العربية. 

لدى أمل إسماعيل حتى يومنا هذا 19 إصدارًا أدبيًّا. تتنوّع إصداراتها لتشمل الشعر والقصة القصيرة والنصوص السردية والمسرح وإدارة المعرفة والابتكار والمقالات الإدارية والمذكرات والترجمة في الدراسات وفي الفلسفة للأطفال، ومن بينها أيضًا إصدارات مُشتركة مع كتّاب وشعراء آخرين. يمكن إلقاء نظرة أقرب على الإصدارات على الصفحة المخصصة لها.

Amal Ismail published her first literary work at the age of six, a short story titled “The Little Writer.” From that early moment, she knew she wanted to become an author and pursued her dream with the unwavering support of her family. Throughout her school years, she actively participated in literary events, winning first place in the Poetry Category across UAE schools in 2000.At university, she served as Managing Editor of University Forum Magazine and Vice President of the Students’ Association for the Colleges of Arts and Education.

Before turning twenty, Amal published her first short story collection, “Because It Never Dies,” with the Jazan Literary Club in Saudi Arabia. She went on to release multiple literary works and held her first official literary evening at the Emirates Writers Union in 2005, where she also became a member. Her passion for translation led her to join both the Arab Translators and Linguists Association and the International Union for the Arabic Language.

To date, Amal Ismail has published 19 literary works, spanning poetry, short stories, narrative texts, theatre, knowledge management, innovation, administrative essays, memoirs, and translations in philosophy and children’s literature.
